Letter from the Editor

The editors would like to take note of recent publications by TCR contributors.

The Center for Fiction offers a brief appreciation of novelist Joan Merrill Gerber, and an excerpt of her most recent novel, The Hysterectomy Waltz. In addition, Dzanc Books has re-issued eight of her works in e-book format with more to come. Merrill contributed a story to the inaugural issue of The Christendom Review.

Sterling Watson’s most recent novel (his sixth) can be found at Akashic Books and at Amazon, and Publisher’s Weekly offers a complimentary summary of the book, with links to others by the author in the left sidebar. Sterling, Professor of Literature and Creative Writing and Director of the Eckerd College Writing Workshop, wrote an article on hazing for the previous issue of TCR.

Tireless poet and TCR contributor Thomas DeFreitas has produced four slim volumes of poetry and made them available at the Lulu bookstore.

And finally, don’t forget Lawrence Hetrick’s book of verse, Derelict Tributaries, which you can find at Anhinga Press. Lawrence also contributed to the previous issue of TCR.

Any other TCR contributors who publish in any forum and would like it noted here, please contact the editors. And thanks again to all who do so contribute.
